On Friday, the makers have locked 30th August as its release date. It means Nani is challenging Akkineni Nagarjuna. It is known the news that Nagarjuna is also busy in the shoot of upcoming project Manmadhudu 2, in which Rakul Preet Singh is playing the lead role. Nagarjuna is also planning to release Manmadhudu 2, on the occasion of his birthday which falls on 29th August. As Gang Leader is arriving on 30th August and Manmadhudu 2 on 29th August, both the movies will compete with each other at the box office. Though Nagarjuna has not made an official announcement regarding the release of Manmadhudu 2 till date. The national award winning director Krish has disappointed the movie lovers and especially Nandamuri fans as his directorial venture NTR biopic- NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan were bombed at the box office. Both the movies were co-produced by Balakrishna himself. Now according to the latest buzz, he has decided that he will not bankroll any project in future. It is heard that Krish is currently busy in the script and is planning to work with top actors.
Krish is now under pressure because he is planning to make his strong comeback but he has not finalized any of his next projects. The sources close to Krish, reveal that the director is taking the assistance of talented writer Sai Madhav Burra to complete the script work for his next film.
Earlier it was heard that Krish is planning to test his luck in Bollywood again after Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. But he has decided to make a movie in Tollywood first. Actually, Krish wanted to work with Mega Power Star Ram Charan for a while, though the thing did not materialize. Later he also contacted Stylish Star Allu Arjun but as he has decided to work with Trivikram Srinivas, did not show any interest in Krish’ project.
Earlier Krish and Allu Arjun have worked together for Vedam, which was turned out commercially flop at the box office. Now we have to wait and see that who will team up with Krish for his next directorial venture.
