On Friday, the makers have locked 30th August as its release date. It means Nani is challenging Akkineni Nagarjuna. It is known the news that Nagarjuna is also busy in the shoot of upcoming project Manmadhudu 2, in which Rakul Preet Singh is playing the lead role. Nagarjuna is also planning to release Manmadhudu 2, on the occasion of his birthday which falls on 29th August. Story: Suri (Sudhakar Komakula), who is raised by his mother (Nirosha), is a roadside Romeo, falls in love with Ramya(Nithya Shetty), but after break up, Ramya flies to the US. Luckily Suri also gets to chance to fly the US. Will Suri get his love again? What the problems does Suri face in the US. To get these answers, one should watch the movie on the silver screen.

Performance: Sudhakar Komakula who has already won millions of hearts in Sekhar Kammula’s Life is Beautiful, in which he played the lead role, became successful once again to steal the hearts of viewers. He attracted the viewers with his Telangana slang. Though he did very hard work he still needs improvement in his expressions. Nithya Shetty got limited screen space but she delivered her best. Varun Sandesh performed well in a cameo. Nirosha as hero’ mother is fine. Rest of the cast performed accordingly.
Technical: The storyline of Nuvvu Thopu Raa is simple and impressive. The Production values of the film are top notch. The producers have spent huge money. The camera work was really impressive. Music of the film is good but the placement of the songs looks like a speed breaker. BGM is okay. Coming to the work of director Harinath, his idea of showcasing a common man’s struggle in the US is good. His narration lacks direction and takes way too much time to come to the actual point. Editing of SB Uddhav is not up to the mark.
Analysis: Nuvvu Thopu Raa is an average entertainer movie. The climax and interval block are not handled well as things are wrapped up in a hurry. The movie lacks proper execution. Presence of Varun Sandesh is the main asset of Nuvvu Thopu Raa.
